Why waste each other’s time
The internet opens new methods of help
Remotely connecting to a computer that can boot saves time and money and is good for the environment.
At the moment TechGuru uses Teamviewer to connect to systems remotely.
For us to connect to your Teamviewer you will need to provide the user name and password. This can be done over the phone or via email found on the Contact Us page.
All you need to do is give us a call and go to the Teamviewer download page and we’ll walk you through the rest.
When are remote connections recommended
Remote connections work best under the following conditions:
- Online and have a good internet connection
- The issue is 100% software related
- The device is able to turn on and boot into the Operating System
- The customer is willing to let a technician use their computer while talking with them on the phone and is okay to leave him unattended if the customer needs to leave the computer
- The customer doesn’t need to use the computer while the remote connection is active.
Unsure if a remote connection will work for your situation? Give TechGuru a call and we will figure that out with you.
